Where Is My Yellow Brick Road?

Hello People,

How is your week going? Mine is going very slow but it is going.

I haven’t had a decent sleep for the past two weeks. I have a lot in my mind right now and I can’t sleep. I usually sleep peacefully (or at least try), I don’t like to bring my burden to bed but it has been really hard the past weeks. But I really believe that everything has an expiration date.

The alarm went off today at 6:30 am, I was already awake crying and my husband woke up ask me what is going on and this is exactly what I said;

ME: “Where is my Yellow Brick Road?, You know Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz had a Yellow Brick Road to follow. She knew that at the end of the road she will have an answer, a solution. She had some bumps, some ups and downs, but she had a Road. She picked up some good helpers and kept going because she had a road, but where is my Road?”

LUIS: “Everybody has a road”

ME: “But where is mine? At least if I know that there will be an answer at the end I will be singing like Dorothy and deal with the ups and downs, but can you reassure me that there is light at the end. I want my Yellow Brick Road!”

LUIS: “Let’s pray and also be proactive. Let’s find the road I know it is there somewhere”

ME: “I just want to have hope. I just want to make sure that even thought I am drowning now at the end I will be safe. I want to know how can I fix this? I wish God show me my Yellow Brick Road”

LUIS: “Remember that Dorothy had the solution to her problem with her the whole time, let’s pray so we can find your Yellow Brick Road”

And so we did, we prayed and to tell you the truth I still do not know where is My Yellow Brick Road, but I have faith that I will find it.

I will definitely Blog if I do find My Yellow Brick Road.

Thank You So Much For Your Time.

With Love,

  1. I hope you feel happier soon. Sometimes it is hard for us to find our yellow brick road on our own, we need faith and support.
